FLEXIBLE TRAINING

“Have you heard about our new flexible training options?

Effectively immediately, all Basic Leadership trainings and level trainings may be attended either in person or through a webinar. “In-person” means you’ll come to one of our service centers for trainings. A “webinar” is a training conducted over the internet. The webinar is live and you are required to attend at the scheduled time. You will be able to interact with the trainers and have all of your questions answered while hearing ideas and questions from other leaders as well.  With a webinar you can kick back, relax, and participate in a training with your cat in your lap and a cup of hot chocolate in your hand. All of our trainings are available for registration through eBiz. We hope you enjoy having multiple options for learning about Girl Scout Leadership!

Volunteer Essentials

We are pleased to announce that
Volunteer Essentials is now available for download from the Girl Scouts Heart of New Jersey website!

This resource offers information about Girl Scouts as a movement and a tradition, asks volunteers to assess their own skills and competencies, discusses the GSLE and journeys, and highlights other program offerings. It also shares information about healthy development in girls, instructs volunteers in how to keep girls safe, gives information on taking trips and hosting events, and tells volunteers how to help girls manage group finances, including details on Girl Scout Cookie sales.
